Guided hike: 'Horn-Gipfel-Höhenweg'

With the Harschbichl cable car, we go to the Harschbichl mountain station. From there, we hike south along the steep, exposed path through the summit rocks of the Kitzbüheler Horn to the summit at 1,990m. Upon reaching the summit, the descent begins eastward along the narrow ridge towards Hoferschneid. Sure-footedness is required here, even if the unique view of the surrounding mountain world is so tempting. We return to the Harschbichl mountain station and take the gondola down to the valley.

Duration: Total approx. 4 hours Cost: €10 per person - free with the St. Johann Card (excl. cable car ride - one ascent and descent is included with two overnight stays or also in the summer season with the St. Johanner citizenship card)

Cost of gondola ascent and descent €29.00 Alternatively, you can also ride down to the valley with the mountain cart. On the specially built track, you can zoom down winding passages through forests and meadows down to the valley station. Cost €35.00 including the gondola ascent.

Registration by the day before by 4 PM at the St. Johann in Tirol information office, Oberndorf, Kirchdorf, or online.

Changes to the hiking routes can be made by the guide/mountain hiking guide before the start of the tour or during the day. We ask for your understanding if participants with inadequate equipment cannot be taken along.

All guided hikes are free with the St. Johann Card (€10 without guest card). Any taxi and cable car costs are to be paid by the participants themselves. Dogs are not allowed! No registration required.

Equipment: good hiking boots (no sneakers), suitable clothing, drinks! and snacks, rain jacket, sun protection, backpack and hiking poles if available. (Hiking poles can also be rented on site.)
