Theater in German 'DA STÖRENFRIED'
The Breiteneggers are struggling with a few difficulties on their farm. While the farmer spends most of his time playing cards with his friend at the tavern, the farmer's wife, along with her niece, a somewhat strange girl, and the grandfather, tries to keep the business running.
Leni Schacherer, an old friend of the farmer's wife, and her mother Burgi pay an unexpected visit. Leni has become a wealthy woman since she received a large sum from her late husband's life insurance after his accidental death. Due to a series of unfortunate events, the farmer soon becomes convinced that his wife also wants a share of his life insurance.
As each of the characters has their own worries, it doesn't occur to anyone for a long time that the summer guest who has suddenly moved in with the Breitenegger family could be the sought-after diamond thief. It is only when Grandma Burgi finds the diamonds that she immediately connects the dots and, together with Grandpa, devises a battle plan to capture the thief with the help of some family members.
