Bezirksmusikfest Westendorf

The district music festival in Westendorf represents a cultural highlight in the district and unites music bands from the entire region. Friday, 14.08.2026 (Free Entry)
Doors open at 6:00 PM in the festival tent, at 7:30 PM the Bundesmusikkapelle Oberau enters with an ensuing festival concert conducted by Christian Widmann, followed by a tapping of the beer barrel by Mayor Rene Schwaiger. From 9:15 PM, “Echt Böhmisch” will provide musical entertainment.

Saturday, 15.08.2026 (Advance Ticket € 10.00 / Box Office € 12.00)
From 2:00 PM, a youth afternoon with a supporting program (including Bogi Clown, bouncy castle) and performances by various youth bands. Doors open at 6:00 PM, at 7:30 PM the Bundesmusikkapelle Söll enters with an ensuing festival concert conducted by Michael Mayr. From 9:15 PM, BRASSARANKA will provide top-level brass music.

Sunday, 16.08.2026 (Free Entry)
From 8:00 AM, the march of the music bands to the festive mass in the village square, at 8:30 AM festive service with Pastor Roland Frühauf, musically accompanied by the music bands. At 10:30 AM, a grand festive parade from Bichling to the festival tent. From 3:00 PM, the festival conclusion with the Jochberger Blechschodn.
