The guided hike to Windautal allows for a relaxing discovery tour through one of the most idyllic side valleys of Westendorf. The easy summer hike leads along the Windauer Ache through varied landscapes with rustic mountain huts, shady forest passages, and refreshing sections of nature, which provide pleasant cooling, especially on warm days.

During the tour, there is an opportunity for a cozy stop in traditional mountain huts, combining nature experiences with regional hospitality. The route offers a scenic combination of movement, relaxation, and enjoyment of nature and is ideal for getting to know the Brixental in a calm atmosphere.

The hike is easy, has an elevation gain of around 200 meters, and is suitable for participants with normal basic fitness. Sturdy footwear, water, and snacks are recommended. The group size is limited to a maximum of 12 persons.

Registration by Wednesday, 5:00 PM at the information offices or online. Meeting point is on Thursday at 9:30 AM at the Westendorf information office. Costs: € 10 with guest card / € 20 without guest card (incl. taxi). Duration until approx. 1:30 PM.
