Talkaser Runningtrail

We take the Alpenrosenbahn cable car for the first few metres in altitude and can already get an idea of the wonderful panorama that awaits us during the ascent.
Once we arrive at the Alpenrosenbahn mountain station, we start our run. First, we follow the forest road slightly downhill until we reach the foot of the Fleiding. There we keep left and walk above the Talkaser along the forest road, which then turns into a hiking trail. This crosses the summit slope of the Gampenkogel with gentle ups and downs.
The beautifully situated Kreuzjöchlsee lake soon comes into view. We stay on the hiking trail above for a short while before turning right at the forest road and walking down to the Kreuzjöchlsee lake. A lake circuit goes without saying! Alternatively, we have the option of walking left up the small hill to the Anna Chapel before turning down to the Brechhornhaus.
From there, we follow the forest road to the Fleidingalm. Passing the Fleidingalm on the right, the path leads us back to the Alpenrosenbahn cable car.
