Hiking event in Hochfilzen
In September 2026, the Pillerseetal will be the venue for the IVV Hiking World Championships. Thousands of hiking enthusiasts from all over the world are expected to discover the mountains and beauty of our region. Because hiking is still one of the favourite sports of our summer guests. As with the permanent hiking trails of the IVV (International Volkssport Verband), the same applies to the World Hiking Championships: thanks to the different distances, everyone can take part!
