Traditional events at Easter in the St. Johann in Tirol region!
The St. Johann Easter week opens on 11th April with St. Johann weekly market being the venue for the Easter market. A versatile selection for Easter will be available here, ranging from Easter baking to palm branches and hand-crafted decorations. Live music and a programme of events for children, including Easter crafts, will be available for our little visitors. Along with an additional Easter week market on 18th April, there is the farmers’ market organised by Kirchdorf farmers on 12th April, along with the popular Easter egg shoot organised by Wintersteller Shooting Club.

Barockes Juwel St. Johann in Tirol
The baroque music festival at Easter!
Cultural activities are available during Easter week in St. Johann too. In 2025 the ‘Barockes Juwel St. Johann in Tirol’ music festival is set to take place for the first time. Between 13th and 26th April music lovers can look forward to a variety of performances – ranging from Vivaldi’s ‘4 Seasons’, to ‘Bach & Brass & more’. Other cultural event items on the programme round off Easter week.

Along with culture and traditions, the ‘activities’ category features sports and activity-oriented options – from the spring hike, when you get to discover the first of the little spring flowers, to the evening snow-shoe hike ‘Find your Flow’. OD Trails will be starting up again during Easter week in St. Johann, providing cyclists with an opportunity to enjoy their first ride out on the trails again after the winter.
